He joined Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd, from Nikkei Chemical Engineering ( currently Nippon Light Metal Company, Ltd.) which promoted the research and development and commercialization of the compound semiconductors. During serving at Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd, he has engaged to the new product development and commercialization of the epitaxial films material of the compound semiconductors, and succeeded production systems for very high frequency (GaAs system) and for optical communication (InGaAs system) and in the commercialization of GaN of the new luminescent material.
In addition he also contributed to produce new product development system, various equipment designing developments and disarm technology using his own improvement. - 2004

He retired from both the semiconductor division and the Itami laboratory (concurrent office) of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.

Engaged to the advisor of Sumitomo Semiconductor Materials (Inc.) after the retirement age.

Received the degree of Dr. Engineering from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.

Presently he is acting to drive safety and equipment guidance etc. after his retierment. -

◇Delivered special lectures at Shizuoka university and Fukui University of Technology as a visiting Professor. Serve a lecturer at the High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan. Awarded "Chairman Prize" of the High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan in 2005 and“Technical prize” of the Japanese Association for Crystal Growth in 2006 for " Development of production technology of high quality 2 inch GaN substrates by VPE". -
